The one good thing about flying (very) early in the day

For a couple of months I was waking up once a week at around 3.30 am to go to the airport and take an early flight to a major western european city. There weren’t many other options for me at that moment and I was doing that due to a key project at work.

Taking such an early flight isn’t easy nor fun but I am firm believer in finding good things about anything, and sleepy as I was every time i took one of those flights, I was able to find it: sunrises.

It’s not common, at least for me, to be up that early so I never catch a sunrise but because I was taking those flights, I was able to see the beautiful sun rising at least once a week, and each time it was spectacular.

You see, there’s at least one positive thing of flying very early in the morning.
